Sorry for the delay. I have been deep in my studies all weekend. Last week once again picked up. We are learning in a systems based approach. So for the past few weeks we have been focusing on the cardiovascular system. We have finished up the anatomy portion of the cardiovascular system so most of the material we are being presented now is physiology of the CV. My first set of exams is approaching. I have a wet lab exam on Friday in the cadaver lab. I feel pretty confident about my anatomy so I expect to do well on this portion of the exam. Then on Monday I will have my first set of exams. Exams are set up in a way to mimic the setting of the board exams. The test will take place from 9am until 4pm with and hour break for lunch. We will be tested in all four subjects at once. Those four subjects being Human Structure and Function (anatomy and physiology), Medical Biochemistry, Medical Cell Biology, and Foundations of Clinical Medicine. It will be a long stressful day but will be a big relieve to have my first set of exams under my belt. Well I better get back to the books.. Until next time
