Mini 1
I had my first set of exams yesterday. They are called minis. I had four exams over the course of the day. The first exam started at 9am and I finished at 4pm with an hour break for lunch. I received a pass in Human Structure and Function and a high pass in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, and Foundations of Clinical Medicine. There is a few discrepancies on the HSF exam so they may adjust that grade and I am on the border of pass/high pass so I may get that grade bumped up to a high pass. It was a good first round of exams I felt well prepared. It was tough the first month to judge how efficiently I was studying. It would appear that I am doing something right. So last night I finally got to relax a bit and take the night off from studying. A group of us went into St. John's for dinner. We ate at a restaurant called Hemingway's. It was by far the best meal I have had since I was home. I think this weekend I will probably take the majority of Saturday off and hit the beach. Since all beaches on the island are public I can even go to sandals for the day and use there beach. My beach has had a lot of seaweed and is basically unswimmable at times due to the amounts of seaweed in the water. I am located on the Northeastern side of the island so it is actually the Atlantic Ocean, not the Caribbean. I have to go to the south or western part of island for the good good water.. Well until next time..
